Although the preferred way to contribute to Mapillary is to upload geotagged images, it is also possible to upload videos to Mapillary. In that case, the video will be turned into images during the process. This is useful for situations when you are capturing for more than Mapillary purposes—like when you are using a dashcam and want to upload dashcam videos.
You can use our Desktop Uploader and command line tools to upload videos. The Desktop Uploader currently supports only video files captured with the Mapillary Dashcam. The command line tools support more video types, including some video formats with embedded GPS as well as if you have an mp4 video and a separate .gpx file (see the documentation for command line tools for more details).
